Greater Opacity is the studio of Hastings & St Leonards based sign writer, Jay Holland. 

Located in East Sussex on the South East coast of England, you can often find me painting up a ladder or in the window of a local shop in town...

I specialise in custom hand painted & gold leaf signs of all sizes - from smaller commissions for your home like a house number or painting, to larger signs for your shop or business. Including fascias, window's, pavement boards, vehicles, way-finding, interior/exterior murals and more.

...And although I very much enjoy being able to head along the sea front to a local job set in town, I'm always happy to travel for work, and regularly take on jobs in London and beyond.
